Image Description: A piece of blue construction paper advertising a block party. Along with the information typed onto it, there are a few crudely drawn illustrations. They are: music notes on the top left, a shuttlecock; a tennis ball; and a horseshoe on the top right, and a cookie on the bottom left. Each of these sets of images is accompanied by a message. "Music!", "Games!" and "Home Baked Treats!", respectively. The very top of the poster says "NEDA BOULEVARD'S ANNUAL BLOCK PARTY". Below the "Games!" section, the poster reads "June 30th, 7PM till Midnight, Potluck, BYOB". Below that, in the very bottom right corner, it reads "Hosted by the Smith Family, RSVP @ 916-555-7941"
Through Phee, once again, I met Echo(Not her real name fyi). Phee just sort of knows a lot of people, it's the kind of person she is. So I'm sitting out at some coffee shop in Polis, which will come up again, I guess Phee and Echo go there a lot, and this tiny little thing runs up to me and shoves this flier at me. She then sits down, introduces herself, and says Phee told her about the project. And then she just starts talking, and have you ever noticed you can tell when someone's spent a pretty long time NOT talking about something, and then when they finally do, they can't stop it? This was like that. She told me all about how she met her shitty ex boyfriend at a block party, and she'd been holding onto this flier for it for ages, and she just didn't want it anymore. But she didn't want to throw it away either. "The bad things still matter" is what she said to me. I wrote it down, so I know that's the right wording.
