Image Description One: A yellow seed packet with green details. There is a blue oval decorated with leaves and flowers slightly off center. A purple note is visible behind the packet. The blue oval features the text "Snapdragons (Mixed)." On the right side of the oval is an illustration of a cluster of pink and yellow snapdragons with green leaves. There are green buds and leaves on the left side of the oval. In the center is a single close up illustration of one yellow and pink snapdragon.

Image Two Description: The back of the seed packet. Mostly yellow, with some green, but mostly covered by a lined purple post-it note with a handwritten message. At the opening of the packet, you can see the text "Demeter's Nursery/ Polis, California" The message on the post-it reads: "Briar, For starting over. Love, Nana"
I saved the best for last, guys. Okay not the best, I guess, all this stuff is cool. But I saved the first for last, the thing that started it all Well, person. Not this object, but the person who gave me it. Briar Rose, my fellow chronic pain spoonie! (More on spoon theory on the resources page!) Bri is my hospital bestie. I see her all the time, and one day she just came up to me and started talking and we never stopped. She kind of inspired this whole thing, I guess. I told her that, and she gave me this. Briar Rose gardens, that's why I used to see her in the park all the time, and when she got out of the hospital the first time, her garden had died. So her grandma had left this seed packet on her pillow with a note. Bri says the snapdragons are still going strong. I'm angling for her to bring me some that I can dry and add to the archives.
